The evening was held in the private dining room at Coolum Surf Club, which provide a fitting natural backdrop for students, parents, and teachers to share fond memories and anecdotes of our Year 12’s academic journey.  The Graduation dinner was not only a celebration of academic accomplishment but of also a celebration of friendships established by students, parents, and the teaching team over valued years at PBC. Throughout the evening opportunity was provided for students, parents, and members of the teaching team to openly share personal narratives; some were humorous, others reminiscent, others heart-felt and full of sincerity. It was a very fitting Graduation Diner for the ‘Gentleman Class’ of 2022.

Tabitha Finds Her Feet!

Exciting news! One of our prep mums, Rebecca, has written a children’s book called Tabitha Finds Her Feet!

In this heartfelt, coming-of-age story, a tadpole named Tabitha encounters the challenges and triumphs of metamorphosis and realises the importance of staying true to herself as she matures into a frog.

A timeless tale about growth, identity, intuition and destiny, Tabitha Finds Her Feet follows the evolution of Tabitha’s transformation, showing children that embracing uncertainty, overcoming fear and living from the heart can lead to some of life’s greatest adventures.

Poetic and uplifting, this soulful story addresses the inevitable transitions and ‘growing pains’ all children face, showing young readers that new experiences are a natural part of life.

Infused with perceptive wisdom and relatable characters, Tabitha’s metamorphosis encourages children to welcome change, face fear with love, trust their intuition, and walk to the beat of their own drum, even when their legs feel wobbly.

Complimented by beautiful illustrations, this artistic chronicle also introduces young ones to empowering mindfulness concepts in an imaginative way. Ultimately, Tabitha Finds Her Feet urges children to look within and trust the guidance of their heart, above all else.
